Well posted on a ford website and no joy so I thought id give it a bash on here.
Mates fiesta st has started to make a really bad knocking noie, sounds like its coming from the front passenger wheel side. Sounds like something knocking it against something and has got worse as of late. Had the car jacked up and there is no play in the wheel and the bearings are fine. Weird thing is it can be barely heard outside of the car but is very loud and noticable inside the car. Does seem to get worse over pot holes etc. Had a really good look around the car and underneath but cant see anything loose or obvious. Before he takes it to the garage any ideas from anyone. I know its not a corsa but this is a very busy forum so thought itd be worth a shout. Its on coilovers btw if that makes any difference.
thanks in advance.

Could also be a broken spring, defective shock, look for leaking marks on it, engine mount could also be knackered. Did you test the ball joints, wishbone, etc?
