Hi all. I'm getting a vx inlet manifold soon. (The ones off ebay) It will be going on an x14xe. I have a 4-1 manifold, standard cat, powerflow straight through centre section to a backbox. Also have a pipercross induction kit.
Just wondering, after speaking to a mate of mine, he said he had a 4 branch and a vx inlet, and lost alot of midrange power, and the power only kicked in properly around 6,000rpm.??
Could people who have had them on an x14xe please give me feedback on what sort of gains they got from them.
Cheers Carl.

Yeah pushes the power band up especially with an exhaust manifold as well they do go rather well though you just have to rev the arse off it

Ok cheers lads. How much we looking at for a good condition second hand one? He's killed the engine, so obviously everything I need to fit it will be there.

I had that problem. My tming was slightly out. The woodruff ket and bottom pulley was worn.
They do shift the power band slightly further up the rev range, but with your 4-branch on this should help your mid-range.
