Author help needed with airbox please

I have taken out my pipercross induction kit and drilled the original airbox, I have drilled about 25 small holes in the left hand side and underneath on the left with unsatisfactory results. Do I therefore make the holes bigger and hope this will remedy the problem pr buy a decent panel filter if so which one thanks for any help, paul.....

to get best result ya need to drill between one and five (more holes=more air and more noise 40-50mm diameter holes on the left hand side base of airbox (inside wing) as this is where all cold air is you can also run cold air pipe down to void behind bumper. worked wonders on mine and me mates

basically I used the smallest drill bit I had for trial and error really to test it out what size drill bit should I use ?

what do they really want to be that big something like inch wide holes is that what you mean ?

yup bout inch an half to inch an three quarters, do at least one on front bottom left corner and an additional one above and more down left side

may be better gettin new airbox from scrappie. I had 2 on front corner and 3 down left side it sounded like a scooby under load! I did block the 3 on side when cold weather started to help car run better tho, I'll take it off when it warms up

what did you block it with I will give it a blast on sunday also have u got the standard air filter or an aftermarket panel filter
