Evenin.

So m X16XE has tanned 3 litres of oil in 1600 miles.
Conclusion = rings

So just to double check whats best to replace while apart.

Be doing it myself since i'm a spanner monkey to trade, engine stand and all tools at home.

Piston ring set, block honed.
Valve stem seals, head de-coke, valves re-ground.
Head skim, head gasket.
Big end shells (Crank need reground?)
Timing belt, rollers, water pump.

Is it worth buyin ARP rod bolts/head bolts/flywheel bolts?
Anyhing worth upgrading while its apart?

Will probably be fitting a performance inlet while i'm there.

Anything i've missed?

cant see the harm in buying arp rod bolts, they're cheap enough anyway. Standard head bolts ect will be fine.
You'll have rocker cover gaskets ect when you buy the head gasket set aswel.

Headset, sumpset, headbolts, water pump, oil pump, cambelt kit, big ends, mains, rings. Get crank checked but it shouldnt need grinding unles bearings picked up.

i think he has the mantzel i sold.
The vxperformance ones do the trick, stay away from those flame ones though, they have trouble written all over them.
