Can somebody with a single wiper kit answer this question please, does your wiper blade hit the drivers side rubber seal round the windscreen when it wipes? i have tried adjusting it so it parks further down but if it goes any further down if will hit the scuttle, have they sent me the wrong sized blade/arm or does it do this?
cheers

You need to use the shorter blade that comes with the kit. If you use the standard length blade then you will get that problem. The shorter blade means that you don't get much of a field of view though, all in all, they're a bit crap.

that will be your problem then. its just set to the left a little from point of veiw. if you get a single wiper scuttle it will sit in the center and problem is gone

Not 100% on that as i havent done it yet myself. but i'd imagen you can just move it over one way or another. just have a fiddle and see what happens lol

looks like i will have to buy a smooth scuttle with no holes cut in it, make some brackets to move the wiper mechanism to middle, then cut hole in scuttle for it, or just buy a smaller blade

I think you might be wrong, the single wiper scuttle does not sit in the centre
I have a single wiper scuttle on mine, and its the same as JaffaTB's, my wiper hits the window rubber
The hole in the scuttle is not centre still.
To be honest its that much of a pain the the arse with visability etc, I have decided to buy a Tigra scuttle panel, and have two wipers again - Better looks, better use....
Anyone wants to buy a Smooth scuttle panel and single wiper linkage, PM me, pick up from Manchester only though

works great, full sweep of the window without touching the side
