Gosh, its been ages since I've posted in here lol!

I was wondering if you peeps could help me out? I have a Corsa SRi 2004 1.4 16v which doesn't start!

To give you the low down, I was driving along the motorway when the car over heated and died on me. Had to get it towed back home and the RAC guy told me he reckoned the head gasket has gone? He also mentioned something about no compression!?

I've had a second opinion from a mechanic who also said the same.

How much is it worth!?

All electrics work too so i guess it would be worth more right?

More than that id have said, maybe 2k, if its a decent car, then it just needs and engine, sure an engine could be bought and fitted for £750 tops, then someone has a decent car. Split it??

Worth a fair bit for parts

Facelift bumpers £100 for pair
Facelift lights £100
SRi interior £100
SRi mirrors if it has them, £200ish
SRi wheels £300-£500 depending on condition/tyres

Then panels, steering wheel, axle, windows etc. Depends if you can be arsed lol.
