Hi,
I have a C20LET in a 1998 Corsa Sport with an F28 gearbox. Am I right in thinking the gearbox will be cable and the speedo will be electronic? Is there any way round this? Or is the solution to get cable speedo clocks from a pre-facelift corsa?
If that is the case, do I need a cable for the gearbox and that will work in the clocks, or do I get a cable for the clocks and that will work in the gearbox?

to get speedo to read properly you will also need to change the speedo ring on the diff

the ring is on the diff that turns the cable drive sender. you need to change that which involves splitting the gearbox. otherwise the clocks will not read correctly.

Ah, thanks Nic. Might be a slightly bigger job to sort than we'd hoped for.
