vxr map sensor and pipe £100

anything nova/c20let related
also needing a decent set of 4 stud alloys 16' preferably 4X100 et49 or very very close to that

Maf stands for mass air flow. Its another name for the Air flow meter. The sensor on that pipe is a boost pressure sensor.

It's not the map sensor, it's the boost pressure sensor mate. I've had 2 Astra Gsi's and 2 Vxr engines

its a manifold absolute pressure sensor!
i.e it picks up the pressure in the pipe through a small rubber hose on the sensor and relays it electronically to the ecu
its a MAP sensor!
thats why people use cossie(iirc) 3 bar map sensors as they are better

there even on ebay with the exact same ones that say MAP sensor
il even get the part number off it and show you that its a map sensor

I'm on my phone so can't see that link. It's funny how I've always ordered them through vauxhall as a boost pressure sensor. And also comes up on the snap on diagnostics machine as a boost pressure sensor.
