It's weird as I think the Coupe design looks better than the hatch, love the look of them lowered.

Yeah TBH Warren that Astra of yours is mint for the age and mileage and you have upgraded bits that needed doing to get it running right, no point changing to something else now.
Get a diff and some decent tyres and uprate the shocks for something that hasn't done 100k miles

I have been looking at BMWs too as I fancy a convert
Can get E46 325 with a m sport kit for alright money. Bit slower then the 330's but better on fuel
But on the other hand in your shoes I would be tempted to put a few more touches on the gsi
As other then comfort the bmw wont gain you anything
While be are talking cars derv sport hatches can you tow with them?
