I have a NAS drive with loads of films/TV shows backed up on.
I have a PS3 in my bedroom so I use the media server on that to stream.
I want to stream it into the lounge. What kind of thing to I need?

Popcorn hour, bart and others will be along to tell you about them, about the best you can get outside of a computer or a ps3 afaik.

You get cheaper ones but they don't play everything.
Western Digital make a cheaper one.

That popbox looks good, exactly like the popcorn hour but not stupidly priced.

WDTV or Acer (not Asus) Revo.
Acer Revo would be my choice as XBMC is a nice piece of software. I'd say you'd be best off with WDTV though.
edit; or XTreamer
