Not the best situation when we want/need to confirm our place back in the PL

I'm all for bringing players up through the academy etc. But first season back in the Prem would of been nice to spend the £15mill of new money on players

Your going to be better than teams like West Ham, Wolves & Wigan though so should stay up I'd of thought. And at least they have a plan to get out of debt thats relatively short term!

Oh I understand their reasoning behind it and I think its great to break even and in such a short time scale!

It's exactly what we need IMO
Potentially get a decent sum for Carroll and replace with a couple of players

We've always had a pretty stacked academy but haven't ever seen those players come through due to us being too busy chasing trophy players like Owen

I'm not sure Carroll will go and if he does it won't be for that much.

i bet you thought west ham had turned the corner, but alas they went straight on. just seem to keep hitting barriers that halts their progress at doing what they claim they can do. just shows they are very inferior.
