when ever you leave the car coast in gear the management light comes on then the car
stalls at junctions etc any ideas?

Idle control valve? is the idle really irratic? If so it could be the EGR but sounds more like ICV... Do a paperclip test?

no it idles fine

Disconnect the afm, and see if the car will start. It should but would not run very well, as it would be in los, or get you home mode. Reconnect, and disconnect the map sensor, if the car doesn,t start then the afm is at fault.

they don't have an afm mate.
mine did this, it ended up being dirty connections on the engine loom
