oh actually wayne, it was not standard. as it had an mtec power cap and a green cone air filter on it. oh, and a powerflow manifold back twin box system. perhaps reducing the power to 145bhp.

My mate ran 14.7 STD 20xe and my brother ran 14.4 so upto now we have 3 cars that have beat the 'record'

the only xe i have ever seen that was as close to a standard engine did a 14.9. i put 'standard' as obviously the car is not standard as it has a non-standard engine, im glad this coincides with what nic is saying, i saw this personally so thought i would inform.

Probably around 17 seconds. I ran a 15.9 in mine i think,that was with a mantzel,piper cross viper with cold air feed and 14" astra gte wheels on dunlops sp sports!
