Needing some advice on an issue im having. Basically, when I bought my engine+gearbox it had a cable driven sender in the gearbox for the speedo. Because I want to use my electronic sport dials I just took the cable driver sensor out and put an electric one in and connected it up. But my speedo doesn't work now 
Is there more involved that just simply unscrewing the sensor and changing it in order to change it from cable to electric? Is it possible to get it to work or do I need to get a set of cable driven clocks?

i think there is 2 types of electric speedo. when i changed mine, i simply got the speedo sensor, like a black stick, put that it and it didnt work. ...after a few more days of looking for one, i found one in a corsa that had like a cog on the bottom and not actually a sensor. so it may be this one your looking for and not actually the sensor
