Application for Placement Position: Support for the Site’s Information Systems Department
Dear Sir,
I have enclosed a copy of my CV after seeing a placement opportunity within your company advertised on my University message boards. I am currently studying my BA (Hons) Business Studies Degree at Sheffield Hallam University and am looking for a position for my placement year starting after my exams in May 2003 for a 12 month period.
Although I am a Business studies student I am also highly computer literate, as demonstrated by my A Level result in Computer Science. I would like to work for IS Lead after reading the job description as I am looking for a challenging position which will allow me to put my business, interpersonal and IT skills into practice in a functional real life organisation. I am also hoping to move back to Darlington for the duration of my placement so accommodation and travel will not be a problem for me, and I would also like to move back to the North East to live after my Degree is successfully completed.
I hope that you will consider my application for this placement as I believe I can make a real positive contribution to IS Lead as a member of your organisation. I can be available for interview at any time and look forward to hearing from you soon
Yours faithfully
Martyn Hunter
