Also just a though Colin I hope you have long leads as the battery will be in the boot? at the back of the garage so might be tricky.

Will try & turn off the Nav unit.

Pushed it out the garage now, which wasnt at all easy as the drives on a bit of a slope but its ut now!!

Dont jump it at the battery Colin. There will be a positive terminal in the engine bay and an earth post on the inner wing.

Started it with jump leads, went for a spin came back & its struggled to start again.

Got it on a trickle charge now if that doesnt work its new battery time!!

Saw this on my mates 3 series, theres a wee red cover on the terminal for jump starting then a stud on the wing on the drivers side?
