Will he actually be in the final 23 man WC squad?

I know it would have been pointless to call him up then drop him from the final squad, but stranger things have happened!

For me, I think he's there, I just wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't go!

He wouldn't of been in the 30 if Capello wasn't going to take him imo

He's a certainty to go IMO, they've only one right back in the 30 man squad and he's the cover for that position

Yeah he will go or he wouldn't of been called up to the 30. Can cover anywhere across the back so is handy to take tbh.

Best part of Jamie Carragher trickled down his mums leg and ended up as a brown stain on the hospital ward.

Slow, ugly, rascist, admitted he tried to injure a team mate in training.

Plus hes anti semitic - he cuts up pork and hides it in Benayouns dinner when he isnt looking

Not a fan.

Having said that I am sure capello will get a great game out of him if needed

Tbh, he is a decent bloke by all accounts and the stride that go around our forums. Has his 23 foundation which he has set up to raise money for local kids which he has put a couple £100k of his own money in for starters.

Commendable, but 200k to him is like £20 to us normal folk!

It is, but you don't exactly see every modern footy player setting up their own foundation, etc. so it's certainly better than nothing.

I reckon he'll go simply for the reason he's a bit versatile.
