Was wondering if anyone knows of any decent places that do short term cover car insurance. Had a lil look around through the wonders of google but most places either only cover 24's and over (so a couple years out my reach) or look a bit sketchy. Also if anyone has any idea of the kinda prices I'd be looking at for 10 days to 2 weeks cover?
Much appreciated

It depends what car it is an your details etc for the price - just like normal insurance.
When we got my car we bought a temporary insurance policy under my dad's name with me as named driver, for a month it cost about £130. That was with Lloyds TSB.

Yeah they will do less than a month, I got a month because that's the longest short-term cover they do.

norwich union provide free temp cover if you do a hpi check with them. Make sure you can get a quote on the car first otherwise they might not cover you
