Surely Vaux don't make a blanking plate?

Anyway, old Coke can and some instant gasket served me fine for 18 months. Just a thought for you...

longer bolts for a blanking plate? would be shorter one surely, and you get em off ebay

Do Vauxhall actually sell blanking plates for the EGR? Or do you have to make your own?

Yes they do sell a blanking plate.

I dont suppose you have the part number do you? I phoned my local vauxhall up and he couldnt find a blanking plate on the system.
