There is a lot to it, im not that clued but from what Ive heard you need low compression pistons, turbo manifold, turbo, new inlet. obviously intercooler. like thenobleone said, buy a LET its cheaper.

wouldnt bother mate, if you leave the internals standard it will break, get a let its easier and probs a bit cheaper tbf

mmmm i was afraid of that so i think my best bet as i cant afford a let is to cam mine fit a lightened flywheel ?

fit a saab turbo lump with your box/shafts and sump, can pick them up for around £400
|

with cams you'll need
cam's, pulleys and adjustable fpr (maybe more thats just top of head)
personally dont see the hype with a lightened flywheel on its own anyway, flat type is more that adequate enough

dont bother tuning the na for the money it isnt worth it, save up and get a let, they normally go for 700, so if you sell yours then it will onlt be around 400

finding an let for 700 is like finding hens teeth and you can pick a redtop up for around 200

So what would you guys do ? Tbh I can't afford £700 even if I was to save up so what would be the best modifications to my xe that I could do to increase power

need the correct scab engine. Different years had slightly different set up.

out of a 9-3 upto about 2000 i think it is, could be bit later/earlier tho not to sure when exactly they changed
