Yesterday lunch time (after hearing about the new iPhone), I decided to cancel a phone contract i've ordered.
This morning at 7am I was sent a text to say "My parcel is on its way"
Then logged on here and saw this.... (Which is the phone, that I cancelled....)
It's not here yet, but its quite obvious it's coming.
Where do I stand now? Just send them an email with the screenshot of that chat? Or do I just leave it? I've had no email confirmation to say that i've cancelled.

Wait to see if it turns up first. Then act with those screenshots.

Just refuse delivery, same as any other time you didn't want it.

Think you should hunt down Laureena B and surprise sex her whilst shouting "Brilliant, fantastic, brilliant"
In all honesty, I'd just call and say you requested for it to be cancelled yesterday, now it will cause you costs so can they arrange for a courier to collect it.

If i refuse delivery it'll just go back to their depo then?
I just don't want it to be 1 week since i've ordered and then can't return it and lumbered with an 18 month contract.

I was trying to be as simple as possible as I knew I was taking a screenshot, so shush
I'll ring them up when it arrives and ask them to collect it then. I've cancelled the Direct Debit from my bank online, so at least no money should come out.

This is what I first thought Dave, but then realised they've not emailled me to confirm the cancellation, so it would of been an epic facepalm as I would have been stuck with an 18 month contract

Refuse delivery, don't touch it or open it. Phone them straight after and get them to send you a letter to confirm that it has been received back at the depot.
If you can see if the IMEI number is visible on any of the packaging - take a note of that so you can confirm with them that it was the same one.

Just spoke to her and she said I would have to send it back special delivery at my cost.
I'll just do what gravesy has said and see what comes of it.

Cancel your Direct Debit, then get onto them to make sure they haven't processed anything further
