hi ppl, i am hopin someoe on here an help. i have a R-reg 1.4 16v corsa sport and the fuel gauge always reads it 40 ltrs even tho i knowthere is only 15ltrs in it !!!! i start the car and the needle always goes to the same point ???

faulty float /sender unit in tank or faulty fuel pod in dash or wiring poor at float.

i swapped my clocks with my mates and still the same problem. I will check the float/sender in the top of the tank later cheers fo the help and advice mate
