Found this app called Gmote...thought it was worthy of mentioning.
It turns your phone in to a remote control for you laptop music library.
For me, I have my desktop PC hoked up to my TV and surround sound system. using the app the phone becomes a remote and I can select music to listem to and adjust volume without switching tv on or using keyboard or mouse.
I can also stream my music library to my phone anywhere in my house.

This is a great app. You can use it as a mouse for your PC as well

Does it have an "arrest Eck" button anywhere on it?

Its a quality app, just hook the laptop up to the tv then use the phone as a remote. free aswell

When you say music libiary, which do you mean? Itunes, WMP etc??
Also how does it connect? WiFi from the phone to router, or direct to the PC??
My PC is on ethernet to the router?

you download gmote to the pc, then the phone access' the pc through the gmote server.

just got it working this is pretty awesome. Im using my phone to type this on my pc. The touch pad is pretty good too.
Could have some fun with this hehehe
