has anybody got an idea what it can be because the temperature guage is not goin up and the vans not kicking in and its one of them problems that wind you up

Checked the connections at the CTS ?

ok and could it just be something simple like the thermostat is fcukd

If the spade terminal is on ok at the CTS it could be the CTS itself.

they are actually not related at all tbh other than located next to each other. one has no bearing on the readings of the other one.
