What tyre width am I looking for?
Currently they have 195's on but they stick out a little bit, does this mean there to big? and would 185 be better?
Thank you

normally people go for 195/45/15's
You may find they stick out a bit due to having a high sidewall, if they are 50 or 55's this will make them look like tractor tyres & stick out a bit.

I've got the MK3 Sport ones on my Nova (same design as the 6 spoke only these have 8 spokes) and I've got 195/50/15's on the front which is a perfect fit (I've got 195/55/15 on the back but its not a noticeable difference)

negative. the 50 and 55 element dont come into the width of the tyre at all. a 195 45 15 is the same width as a 195 70 15 etc.

i tend to find that it does, the wall always seems wider with the higher profile, makes them look like they dont have enough air in them & bulge out.
Or its just an optical illusion.
I still say 45's are best size for corsa's / small hatch

the profile doesnt affect the width, although the width affects the profile.
