Panda too small or I would have a Daewoo matiz aparently brill in snow. Honda Hrv how big are they? I seem to remember toyota doing a 4x4 estate corolla or something?? maybe not toyota but an obscure jap make?

Yes it was mate Green one 1.6 sport black wheels. Now have a banger astra estate thats stress free motoring if i bang it i dont care !. What mpg does frontera do?

There not permanent 4x4 though. Front drive until they start slipping. Then the rears help the front. Mate of mine had one. Twas shit

Shit in what way I am not looking to off road only for it to get around my area in bad weather on road! clever engineering then only use 4x4 when needed!

Dunno what mpg it does, about 40 miles to £10 but its on 32inch mud tyres and I dont drive like a granny.

You're asking way too much for £500 and 40mpg!

4x4 sap fuel economy, and £500 will get you a shitter regardless of what it is!

My £500 frontera wasnt a shitter at all (before I got my hands on it) it was on 80,000 with full service history, really good condition, but now it gets abuse off road and I have attempted to drown it a couple of times.
