True but they are deep fried so it's the thought that counts.

Scotch isn't just a drink though so can be used in the context cavmad used it.

Please note the small print that says only Americans use the term. And it is considered offensive. Also, it claims a Scotch egg is Scottish so I am therefore rendering the whole entry as false, wrong and pretty much a pile of pish!
