Doing a courier website at the moment, the courier travels nationally.
What's the best way of putting a pricing page up?
Type their post code to / from + weight and comes up with a price?
Are there any scripts kicking around for this

An example off Google:
UK postcode distance calculation in PHP
You could take the distance value and add on any extra charges for weight, then display a price after all the calculations?
As far as I'm aware there isn't a (free) off-the-shelf solution for your needs so you'd need to do a bit of programming. The example I gave above is in PHP, so if you are using .NET or some other language you'll have to do your own coding from scratch using that script as a guide.
I'm pretty sure you can do the above using Google Maps API, but I don't really have the time to look into it deeper for you right now Whittie, sorry.

You could do some funky stuff using the google maps api to figure out distances and use other info for more accurate pricing. For free you can't get full resolution postcode searching as Royal Fail are cunts.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the Postcode Address File is meant to be free from like, 2 months ago - couldn't see anything about that on the RM website though.
