Same can be said about 90% of the decent French sides throughout recent history.

I don't see a problem personally, he was born in Ghana and lived almost his entire life in France it's natural to have an affinity with both countries.

When France were losing to South Africa he said he was upset but joyful. Upset the French were going out but Joyful that the host nation may go through so, no he isn't being a hypocrite.

Marcel was a brilliant player, I quite like him as a pundit too TBH but I speak a little French.
