no mention of parts replaced, at that mileage either everything will be on its way out or replaced recently, which he hasn't mentioned.
you'd be forever finding niggly little faults and forking out money imo
worth it if it was say something like a corrado vr (i would say that) but i wouldn't want all that hassle and old car etc for it to be a 5dr golf. It will be boring.

Sod everyone who doesnt like old golfs. I bloody love mine and ironically has been one of the most reliable cars ive owned. Only been in the garage once and that was for the MOT.

If i was looking for a 2nd car to cart the kid about in, something that old, rather have something newer and safety would be first on my list.
Even with 1300quid, you could get something half decent for that.
