Was about to order a new oil tray for catching oil, and have found this.

anyone got any experience of such things?

also can you think of any harm it could do?

Yes, on my dads boat we have to use one of them to suck the old oil out of the dipstick tube, as you cant get under the sumps of the engines. dont know why you would bother on a car though? spose its easier i guess

i have decided to buy a drip tray instead, seeing as i have to get under car anyway to change the filter

weve got one at work quite handy for some cars, had one of those smart cars in once for a service. it didnt have a sump plug so it was either use this to sook the oil out or remove the sump to drain the oil lol.

cant see them doing any damage to the car, probs just easier buying a tray to drain the oil into

edit, didint notice your post saying you had already bought one, silly me
