Is it possible to have this engine bored out to 2.2 litres ???
I know it has been bored to 2.1 before but is 2.2 possible ??
Also what work is involving in boring the engine ??

No, not unless you increased the stroke to achieve it.
To bore the engine you read it stories about horses and carts...
It's something done by a machine shop anyway as they will need to do it according to the pistons and your required piston to bore clearances but they are just increasing the size of the bore in the block, even a 2.1 (2092cc IIRC) is an 88mm bore size, 2mm more than standard. You will then need to hone it (again, normally done by machinists anyway as the cross hatching should be about 45 degrees) to help bed in new rings etc.
It's a lot of money to throw at an 8 valve engine TBH.

dunno the ne is the 115bhp 2.0 8v so its not really a great performing engine anyway.

to bore the block wont be much. i paid about 15 a cylinder.

So £60 for my engine, is that all the work that needs doing or do I need to do some other mods to accompany it ??

well you will need pistons as well. Then you will have to research into stroking it.

why dont you just put a turbo on it mate? youl get a few more horses  only works with c20ne though because it has low comp pistons
