im having an alarm on me car soon n making it cental locking but want my doors de-locked do i put the new handles on the same day as the alarm or after or before i dunno

It doesn't really matter.
It took me about an 1hr to do one side, but thats cause I had no idea what I was doing. The other side only took 10 mins.
It depends how much time you have whilst the doors are in pieces.

get sum cav back door handles n do it when u put ur alarm in.

r cav as good as the vectra ones i was thinking of doing it all on same day cheers for the advice

Personally I like Vectra handles.
Ideally try and get them in the colour of your car, or as near to it as possible. It makes spraying them less hassle.
You'll also find you need to re-use the handle-lever-thingy from your old handles. Vectra ones aren't long enough.

If ya do it b4 and ya have no c/l now remember ya cant lock car! Fit them/get them to fit when puttin alarm in cos theyll have door panels off. Or do it after, I'd Get painted handles I have black plastic they r a bastid, polish gets on them and plasic cleaner gets on paint

so if i go to a scrappys next week get some handles then ill have time n money to get em sprayed if i cant get em in my colour which i dont think i will then when me mate ken comes to fit me alarm he can do the handles as well-sorted

no wanted to tho but my bulb had gone n wanted to get it fixed but the back casing wudnt go back on i washed me car n everything but the barstool went on at half 5

The only evidence of me and me mate being there is the the two empty car parking spaces in pics! oh well. Skeggy sounds good think I'd be up for that if I'm not doin anythin else
