How can a brilliant band like that come up with utter shite aswell?
To me they are pure genius or utter tripe.
Christ, it's like Queen at live aid right now

I don't see the big hype with them, I've not liked anything they've ever done. It is like you say with them though, you either love them or hate them.

He's the most uncool front man going. If them and Keane ever meet up the world will implode.

I thought the last album was ace. Although at first i wasn't keen, it just needed playing a few times to get into it. Off to see them at Old Trafford Cricket ground in September. Can't wait!

Their older stuff is far better than the last album, the first few songs are ok but then it trails off imo.

I like there stuff, well the old stuff, but when I saw them live they sucked. I thought they were suppost to be epic live, but weren't. Really put me off them, then the new album and previous album were shit.

Where did you see them? They only seem to do festivals and wembley now which is annoying because i'd like to see them really. I thought Black Holes and Revelations was quite good for the most part

This.
Plug In Baby is still by far the best song they've done, imo.
Like someone on the review show said the other day, they've made a living off releasing 90% the exact same song over and over

Saw them at wembley back in june 07. My mate had really bigged them up live saying they were the best thing since sliced bread (she seen them like 10000000 times), and all the reviews ive seen bigged them up. Then it was such a let down.
I didnt really like Black Holes. Was all about Origin of Symmetry and Absolution for me.

I must admit I prefer Absolution and Origin of Symmetry over Black Holes, but I wouldn't say I dislike it entirely.
The thing is, with the older songs like Plug In Baby, Hytsteria, Time Is Running Out etc, everyone watching them is singing the lyrics and getting really into it, whereas with the new ones people just kind of sway to it. You'd have thought they'd make more songs like the aforementioned with the reaction they get in contrast to the new ones.

showbiz, absoloution and last album. Hated origin of symmetry. Infact their orignal sound pissed over anything else they have done, lord knows why they immmediteyl went so commercial and tried to boy band it up
