I bought a MK1 Nova about 6 months ago which was lowered with apparently astra lowering springs, which come MOT time turned out to be cuts. So got standard suspension in now but have recieved some second hand lowering springs and was going to fit them today. The rear springs in the pic are from my old MK2 Astra, was just going to try them out, I have other Nova springs too.

Was also thinking of doing a tutorial but it would be very similar to the Corsa B one, and I wouldnt be changing shocks so maybe theres no point?

Cheers

Used 2nd Springs myself a few times, never had issues, wouldn't think twice about doing it again.

The springs on my car now are at least third hand and I've got no problem with that. However I bought a cheap suspension set off someone on here when I had my B, that was a different story But that's because the shocks were knackered.

Most MOT'ers will put them as cut even if there proper lowering springs, its to cover there back.

lol, cheers for the rplys on my toes.

Fitted the springs recently and having no problems, a great relief actually as the standard springs were doing my head in.
