getting back into 11 a side this week after about 2 years of not playing. gonna be hard work due to fitness

i still play 4/5/6 a side but its a completely different game.

used to be a right back, quite attacking. now that im playing smaller games i tend to sit up the field and dont do alot of defending.

anyone else been in this situation. did you find it hard to get back into your usual playing position? did it come back naturally? did you switch?

Our pre season starts tomorrow! Hoping I can stay injury free this year. Played 3 games last season then broke my foot!

Don't worry about the lack of fitnesss, everyone will be the same. I played all last season, got pre-season tomorrow and i'll be blowing out of my arse, even though i've been doing bits of cardio here and there.

Do what I do play centre midfield and plod around never goin beyond the centre circle, less distance to track back then
