Actually I've just looked at what you get from each and Singapore Airlines seem to be the best by a country mile.

Flown both Singapore and Emirates. Singapore to Australia and Emirates to Mauritius/Dubai. Both great. For me Emirates edged because the planes felt newer. But both fantastic.

On Singapore it would be an A380 so it should be pretty new.

Emirates. defo not BA imo. Have flown both Emirates by a mile.
