i use to use paintshop pro but what else is out there i can get? for free obviously im not going to pay for something i can get free

CS3, i dont really have a clue what i'm doing so i'm probably not using it to it's full petential.

Photoshop CS5.

If you want something for free that is meant to be free, then try Paint.net. I've only used it a bit but it's not a bad program. It's sort of a cross-over between Photoshop and MS Paint.

CS3 although i have 4 &5 but getting to grips with 3 currently

I also use lightroom for quick blanket edits of photos...

but CS5 will do the same thing, easier.

Get photoshop cs5, if you're worried about it costing money, use piratebay to get a cracked version like the rest of us do.
