Can you put a scraped car back on road. Som1 i know taken the engine out of it but the rest is fine is it posible to put it back on the road?

as far as i no when the car is sent of to be scrapped you cant buy them and put them back on the road unless any one else knows something different...?

my mate bought a mk2 golf gti and a mk5 escort van from the scrappy, paid £150 each and all he did was apply for the log book and it came

certificate of destruction if its a scrapage scheme car but for normal scrap cars it should be an issue as most scrappys would only have them issues when the actual car was crushed

so get yourself a v62 and apply for the book, at most you will recieve a letter asking why a car that was registed scrapped has now had the log book applied for
