Around 4 months ago i received a tax reminder for my Astra gsi went down to my local post office they scanned the reminder and charged me £65.00 for 6months tax so i payed and left, 4months down the line i have received a fine telling me i need to pay the £35 left owing as this was not the post office's fault if i do not comply i will face prosecution?
Surely this is the post office's fault/ dvla?
Any advise welcome.

If you genuinely paid it, have your tax disk or even better your receipt just let them take you to court.

If you should have paid more and they're on to it then I can't see you getting away with it.
What exactly was the Post Office's fault? The fact they believed your paperwork - which was incorrect?
