Had this for a few months now.

Bought it standard, and have slowly been farting about with it.

One owner from new, near full service history, still has original bill of sale and books etc too!

Use it daily so dont i wanted it driveable and didnt want to go daft with it!

D16Y7 non-vtec
EG4 VTi gearbox (S20 from a D15B) (Alot closer ratio and made a huge difference as the problem with alot of D series engines is they have a very long final drive. This one is a 4.25)
'Black Racing' 14" alloys
No brand coilovers
3.5 maybe 4" inch backbox
EM1 (Facelift) tailights
Import sized plates
EK9 (Type R) Grille

It aint fast but it does go alright considering the engine!

Not a million miles off a B16A2 EG VTi if im honest.

Chances are i'll be selling as im getting bored again....

Comments welcome

looks nice that, not too keen on the wheels, maybe some larger, different coloured rims would suit but looks good bud

Yea gotta agree, it looked better before hand!

My mate had one of these it was the baby vtec though - 1.6 SOHC vtec (not sure on bhp) went ok though...

I sold the wheels as money was tight.

Didnt want to, but had to. Also it drives so much better now with smaller wheels.

And as for it not being far off a VTi, yes i made it up completely to be cool

Im not saying i can beat VTi's, just saying its not a million miles off. VTi really starts to pull away from me past 7000.

D16Z6.Bro had the Esi version with that engine and it made 141bhp.Was pretty quick too tbh. They respond very well to turbo'ing too.
