Different power delivery mate. The VX performance one puts the power up the top of the rev range. Where as the lexmaul one gives more low down power

See for a 1.4 engine, that lacks any torque at all, i'd say a revvier box would be better, making use of the power instead of a little bit of torque.
1.6 engine pulls like a trooper top revs, but then its also got more umph in both areas.

It didn't make much use of the power anyway so even a baw hair more torque would have been welcome.

Im selling my lexmaul at the moment.
I bought it because my corsa was an every day car so the power is much more useable in day to day driving. Vx inlets give you power higher in the rev range so you need to thrash it to get the power, best to raise limiter and uprate arp rods if you do.
Lexmaul on the other hand is a bolt on kit, no moving anything about. Just unbolt the old inlet and bolt this one on.
Lexmaul is more expensive but is also rarer, looks nice and holds its money. Bought mine for £300 and selling it for £280
