Just had this off the inland revenue

I'm getting shit loads recently, I get them daily from my 'bank' asking if I can provide my online banking details. Stupid fuckers are wasting their time.

Just google the email address that sent it you if you're ever unsure, it will say in the first few results if it's dodgy.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I always get emails needing bank account details off banks i don't even have accounts with! If they're going to try and scam me, at least get the bank right

It is possible to change who the e-mail is from before sending it, so mainly, check the website is normal. VERY carefully, they try to trick you like:
www.paypal.com is genuine
www.paypai.com is fake
etc, it'd be easy to "proof read" the from and beleive it's real

Wow Ste, I thought better of you. I'm pretty sure Mark pays his taxes in the UK, hence the HMRC reference
