Noticed a chip in my windscreen the other day so I decided to get it fixed under my insurence policy before it cracks. Looking at the small print, it turns out that if they replace my screen my NCB will be frozen.

So at the end of the policy i'll still have the same NCB as at the beginning of the policy.

Is this usual practice or are swiftcover just being badgers?

I work for a certain well known national windscreen company an we get told that it doesn't effect your no claims because it doesn't go on your body excess its your glass excess so it technically not claiming but could be different with that certain insurer.
