Is a pro kart what I used at buckmore? The chassis wasn't bad, but the engine still didn't feel that quick.
but jr I was more saying to dean that typical crap karting place (e.g. indoor / small organisation) kart / engine is shit.
I've just been looking at club 100 and I'm thinking I may just go up to Rye House for a test. It's not bad money.
I was supposed to be having a test with a Rotax Max team a while ago, but it was going to cost me over £250 for the hire of the kart, gear, and day of set up adjustments from the team for the day and I was tight on money. This was at whitton mill.
it wuld have been a pro or a thunder, but remember i would say a hire kart chassis is getting for for twice the weight of a race chassis like lee's
ideally i would put a thunder on my tkm chassis, but searching for a 200 at the moment then try and out drive lee

So... You buy a chassis? Then you put your engine on it?
are you going to enter it in a particular competition or just take it to open test days?

That's cool!
I'd love to do that, but have no where to keep a kart / or way of getting it to the track
I've just enquired about the club 100 test day at Rye house in September.
I see what you guys mean, watching the vids of their karts - they're not that fast - I can imagine you're prokart being fairly similar.

but the club 100 sounds good to me as it saves me having to store / transport the kart. My only concern with club 100 is there'll be a lot of regulars that do it all the time and the luck of the kart you get (apparently some are complete dogs)
