looking at getting bike licence (aim is to own Honda CBR 600 in near future)

passed me CBT around about 18th July 2005 (after i had turned 17)
passed my driving test 26th june 2007
as far as i know this means i have a full moped licence?

im 22 now so something bigger is on the cards

but what do i need to do to obtain my full licence? bearing in mind i hvnt riden a bike in 3 years ( good old cars )

pretty sure you'l have to do your cbt again mate, doesnt it only last for 2 years?

I think u need to do it again.

I did mine 7 years ago. Did a CBT where they accessed my riding, then decided how many days i would need to do to pass the test which i did 1st time.

I also had to do a theory test.

But this was years ago, may have changed now...

You need to do another CBT and a motorcycle specific theory test.

Then pass module 1 of the practical test which involves slow maneuvers, parking, U-turn and emergency stop etc.

Then you move onto module 2 which is just an on-road test for about 45 minutes.

you can do a direct access course which some incoparate your cbt, its a fast track course which will inable you to jump straight on a 600cc bike instead of having to wait 2 years after taking your normal bike test where you have to either stick to a 125 or have a bike restricted to 33hp
