As title really.
Say if you were buying a present for somebody as an example, is there a way of hiding it on your feedback etc?

I think you can hide your feedback - but it hides all of it not just ones you want to hide selectively.

er hide all your feedback
or
email the seller and ask them kindly to relist the item as "private" as you intend to buy it for a present, if they are half decent they will do this as it doesnt cost them any more ect.

Or tell the seller not to leave you feedback and vice-versa until after the birthday or whatever.

Even if you don't get feedback, it's still available through the advanced search.
Best approach would be to have someone else buy it for you. Preferably someone local to you so it can still be delivered to the same address on their account but you don't incur additional costs getting it to you.
