Never experienced them before. I never skimp on tyres but i'm driving a 300+bhp VXR. Depends what you are driving.
If its on a low performance daily drive then they will probs be fine. If its a 800bhp supercar then probs not a good idea.

Used them many a time in the past and will continue to use them, regardless what the internet thinks.
They are good tyres imho.Had them on a few cars including my old Mk3 Gsi V6.Nigh on 200bhp through the front wheels and they used to grip like a mother-fuker in the dry and never had any issues with them in the wet.
Try them for yourself.

Had them on my Corsa and didn't have any issues. I wouldn't put them on a car with any power though.

After your recent introduction to the bus stop I'd give them a miss mate.
Forgot about texting you back earlier.

cant agree more! i use them on my MX5 for my Autosolo racing to avoid riping my daily tyres to shreads, they wear well but competely lethal in the wet, i cant expect to go round a bend in 2nd/3rd gear and not have the tail step out if the road is greasy or wet!

see my comment above. i wouldn't recommend then to anyone, Ben J makes a good point, if you're driving a 1.0 Micra then ok but those i know have used them, like myself, agree they are only good for wheelbarrows! i certainly won't be replacing them once mine have (eventually) worn down and i'm looking for a cheap set to trash about!

How long you been doing auto solo's. Have you done any autotests yet? Am I right in thinking the age limit for solo's is 25???
I used to do a few autotests back in the day. My Dad is an Ex National Autotest Champion. Its a great motorsport to start off with. Cheap and great for improving your skills.

not the worst tyres you'll ever buy, but you obviously get what you pay for - buy a more expensive brand if you can
the only reason i went for nankangs in the first place was because they do rare widths and profiles - i had 185/45/15 ns2's - they certainly weren't noticably worse than the bridgestones i had on the front

If you want a tyre thats cheap, buy Kumho ECSTA SPT KU31, I find them to be a great tyre for the price.
Depending on size, i got 2 17"tyres fitted for £110, i always use them now as i think they are that good for the money.

Ive had 2 nankangs on the front of mine for a year now, done 3 track sessions on them and they are still going
they are shit in the wet, I can spin them up no problem in 4th in the rain
I have the Khumos mentioned in the above post on the back, they arnt a decent tyre "for the money" they are great fullstop! I will never pay £100 for a tyre again as long as the Khumos are only £54
