Find a Laptop Screen Replacement for an Apple Powerbook G4 17" for a reasonable price!
Keep finding them, but at prices over £200, aiming to find one between £100-£150.
Found a few in America for around 180-190, but they won't deliver to UK.
"Welovemacs" has the best price. There's one on eBay atm, as a whole laptop, but they don't know if the screen works.
If you find one, i'll give you a few quid in paypal for your time!

It's not mine. There's multimple lines accross the screen, as if they're dead pixels, even though they're lit up. Verticle lines*

Could that not be to do with a loose ribbon cable going into the screen? Probably not, but I had a similar problem on another kind of device previously.

Nah, i've taken it apart to make sure its all in properly, and all's good. Think the screen is duff, unless the ribbon is actually faulty.

http://www.laptopsandspares.com do all our parts at work, usually reasonably cheap and can order most stuff in.
You might have to chase them up for prices though

Thanks Ian, i've given them an e-mail.
There's loads on eBay forsale as a whole, might just do that and dismantle it.
Thanks for looking Sam & Norcy, with VAT its £180 though.

150+Vat is about the going rate for a G4 LCD replacement. Apple spares/replacements are always extortionately priced. A friend had his G5 iMac logic board and hard drive replaced a few months back and it set him back £450 quid (inc fitting + reinstall of OSX)...

No problem! Gave me something to do on my boring day... Was the cheapest I could find that was brand new, one off ebay is probably a good idea, atleast then you have plenty more spare parts for anything else that breaks
