i wouldve thought any 4 stud discs would work as long as theyre not too small as its not the caliper u r changin just the disc, i would go for standard gm pads and any decent branded grooved discs what about 2.0 16v discs?? not sure on the size of these though

288's are off the Fiat Coupe Turbo. They are a 98 PCD rather than 100 but I got them on without opening up the bolt holes.

The ones I used I had to countersink the retention hole (otherwise the head will sit proud and cause wheel wobble) but you can run without it, it's just an arse when changing wheels.

That's a smaller diameter disc, so the outer part of thevpad won't be doing anything! Not ideal IMO, especially as the discs and pads start to wear down.

what about when the pads get low and the edges of the pads start pushing against eachother and not the disc?

This.

I also use those discs and have had no problems for the last two years.

Seeing as the discs are 25mm thick, are you really telling me that you can get 12.5mm off each pad before they wear out anyway?!
